Getting a certificate GAD attested in UP

If you want a birth certificate attested by General Administrative Department (GAD) of Uttar Pradesh (UP) government. Here is the process:

1. First get the certificate from your local municipality.
2. Get it attested by your local area ADM (Additional Deputy Magistrate)
3. The ADM would issue a covering letter to home department
4. Take this letter along with your documents to the GAD department to state capital Lucknow.
5. And document would be attested
